The Church of the Firstborn · The Commandments of God · The Faith of Jesus
This is a call back to the old paths — the Protestant Reformer Adventist pioneers, the Ten Commandments, the faith of Jesus, the Lamb’s Book of Life, and the solemn preparation to stand among the 144,000.
Since October 22, 1844, the warning has gone forth to follow Christ by faith into the Most Holy Place, to keep the seventh-day Sabbath from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, to come out of Babylon, and to be found written in heaven.
"To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven..."
— Hebrews 12:23 (KJV)Not written on earthly rolls alone — but written in heaven.
The great matter is not membership in an earthly corporation, but whether the name is retained in the records above. Heaven keeps the registry. The Lamb knows His own.
Revelation draws the line between those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus, and those who bow to the beast, his image, and his mark.
We repeat the words of the keen, noble, and true pioneers — James White, Joseph Bates, J. N. Andrews, Uriah Smith, and their fellow laborers who searched for truth as for hidden treasure.
"Rejoice, because your names are written in heaven."
— Luke 10:20 (KJV)"And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth... but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."
— Revelation 21:27 (KJV)"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
— Revelation 20:15 (KJV)This is the searching question of the hour. Not merely, What church do men say you belong to? Not merely, What creed have you recited? But rather, Is your name written in heaven? Is it retained in the Book of Life of the Lamb?
The warning is not soft. The prophecy is not misty. The line is clear. Those who receive the mark of the beast are lost. Those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus stand with the Lamb.
"He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life..."
— Revelation 3:5 (KJV)Two masters. Two signs. Two destinies.
"Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy... But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God..."
— Exodus 20:8–11 (KJV)"If ye love me, keep my commandments."
— John 14:15 (KJV)"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."
— Revelation 14:12 (KJV)The fourth commandment begins with Remember. There the Lord placed His name, His title, and His dominion. It is the commandment men have trampled underfoot, altered in practice, forgotten in spirit, and cast behind the back.
Love to Christ is not a sentiment emptied of obedience. Love means commandment-keeping. Love means loyalty. Love means following the Lamb where He leads, even if the world mocks and the multitude goes another way.
The sealing message and the warning against the mark of the beast are no light matter. They concern eternal destinies.
"The Sabbath will be the great test of loyalty, for it is the point of truth especially controverted."
— The Great Controversy, p. 605Waymarks. High heaps. The landmark charts that must not be moved.
The historic prophetic chart prepared in the Advent awakening, used in the proclamation of the first and second angels’ messages, sounding the cry that the hour of God’s judgment is come.
The chart carried forward by the Sabbath-keeping Advent believers after 1844, setting forth the sanctuary light, the commandments of God, the faith of Jesus, and the onward path of present truth.
“Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps; set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest...” Jeremiah 31:21. These charts are not curiosities for a shelf. They are witnesses in the cause of truth.
Books, sermons, tracts, charts, articles, and witnesses from the old paths.
This library exists so the dead may yet speak. The pioneers bore burdens, searched the Scriptures, traced prophecy, defended the Sabbath, opened the sanctuary, and laid down the platform of truth.
We call souls to read what they wrote, study what they proved, compare scripture with scripture, and walk in the light as it shines.
The trumpet call to separate from fallen Babylon and stand with the truth of God.

The contest of contests is on. The call is not to drift, but to decide.
Oh when the saints go marching in — oh how I want to be in that number. The call of this generation is to follow the Lamb, keep the commandments of God, and hold fast the faith of Jesus.
"Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."
— 1 Corinthians 2:9 (KJV)"If ye love me, keep my commandments."
— John 14:15 (KJV)"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life..."
— Revelation 22:14 (KJV)"The foundation remains the same: 1841–1850 — the platform of eternal truth. The warning is sounding. The charts still speak. The pioneers still testify. The record is still open. The question is still, Is your name written in heaven?"
